Many miles later, we travelled more than half way through southern Arizona today. It was fun to see the changing landscape and I have tried to capture it for you through my dirty windows at 70mph. Sorry about that. Here's a look at our day.
Cloudy skies, but nonethless Arizona mountains have a hazy, mystical air about them, and a purplish cast.

Skies cleared before long, and south of Tucson they were brilliant for a while.

Then I discovered how important the color green is in my perception of spring. Here, I began to notice the landscape looking just a little greener and my heart feeling lighter!

See them off in the distance?

Getting bigger,

And this lovely late afternoon view is from the door of my RV. Not bad from a parking space behind a truck stop!
We snapped this while out on our evening stroll. I didn't think I was going to see much color in the sky, so we went inside for the evening. But later, I peeked out my window and here's what I saw -- taken from inside the RV.
The sky had clouded over in the east, though, and I wasn't able to get a view of the lunar eclipse. But each day has its own unique pictures and experiences, so even though the lunar eclipse wasn't part of my experience today . . .
Tomorrow is a new day.

Arizona is definitely an interesting state. Grand Canyon, Cliff dwellings, and of course cactus....
The other thing is, its dry.
It has been raining, and raining, and raining here. Soccer keeps getting postponed. I told Mac that the next game has been postponed till Tuesday but guess what the forecast for Tuesday is..... nope not rain.... SNOW!
And I thought for sure, spring had sprung.....
I also found the landscape to be fascinating...especially the photo of the big cacti in front of the deep blue mountains. Your truck stop view was pretty snazzy too.
