Lounging by the Lake

I didn’t get up early enough to get a photo of the sunrise, so Chorro and I took a long walk after lunch to see if we could snap some different perspectives on the lake. A few more campers have moved in for the weekend, but no one has camped near us.

We did get a little acquainted with a neighbor though, one who was here before we came. As we walked by, he called out and asked if we were from Montana. When I answered, he wanted to chat about having owned some property at Whitehall and Anaconda. Turns out he is a Texan who lived in Montana for a few years. He plans to spend the winter here, doesn’t believe it will be too cold.

But for me, I want the sunshine and the shorts weather. We had that today!
This would be the name of the particular campground where I am in the state park. Somehow, I don't think they get the concept of redundancy.

Tipps Point??? Bed and Berth???

Chorro and I hiked around and found some nice spots to sit and watch the lake. We saw some fishing boats and some ducks, some ripples on the water, some sun glistening off the ripples.

Since I claim to have done “nothing” most of the day, I thought I might have to prove it.

The sunset is behind the woods from our campsite, but it did light up the sky with a lovely blush as night fell.

Tomorrow is a new day!
